How We Work
Program Methodology
Inside the Origination Program
Every FGP engagement is a structured origination program with defined deliverables, clear milestones, and monthly reporting. The program is built around the sponsor's specific transaction or pipeline, not a generic process.
The sponsor is involved at every decision point. FGP builds and runs the origination infrastructure. The sponsor approves the target list, participates in all introductory conversations, and leads the negotiation of venture terms.
Database Construction & Enrichment
Every origination program starts with a proprietary database of institutional capital sources built for the specific transaction or pipeline. Sources are mapped by asset type focus, market coverage, check size, and investment mandate. The database is continuously enriched based on outreach feedback and conversation outcomes.
- •Institutional groups and family offices
- •Mapped to transaction criteria
- •Continuous enrichment from outreach
- •Proprietary to the engagement
Outreach Campaign Design & Execution
FGP designs and executes multi channel outbound campaigns to institutional capital sources on behalf of the sponsor. Campaigns follow a defined cadence, with each contact initiated by FGP and tracked through to response or close.
- •Multi channel outbound campaigns
- •Defined cadence and sequencing
- •Initiated on behalf of the sponsor
- •Full contact tracking and attribution
Qualification & Screening
Respondents are qualified against the sponsor's transaction criteria before any introduction. FGP evaluates mandate fit, check size alignment, geographic focus, asset type appetite, and governance preferences to ensure introductions are productive.
- •Mandate and check size alignment
- •Geographic and asset type fit
- •Governance and approval rights alignment
- •Only qualified partners are introduced
Introduction Management
Introductory conversations happen directly between the sponsor and qualified operating partners. FGP manages scheduling, background preparation, and follow through to keep the process moving.
- •Direct sponsor to partner introductions
- •Scheduling and logistics
- •Background preparation for both sides
- •Follow through and next steps management
Negotiation Support
Partners negotiate and document venture terms directly with the sponsor. At the sponsor's request, FGP provides support through the negotiation process, including term comparison across multiple partners, structuring considerations, and process management.
- •Term comparison across partners
- •Structuring considerations
- •Process management through close
- •Sponsor retains all decision authority
Monthly Reporting
Every engagement includes structured monthly reporting covering outreach volume, response rates, qualified conversations, introductions completed, and pipeline status. Sponsors have full visibility into program activity and results.
- •Outreach volume and response rates
- •Qualified conversation tracking
- •Introduction and pipeline status
- •Full transparency on program activity
Our Approach
Integrated, Not Siloed
Database construction, outreach, qualification, and introductions are not separate workstreams. They are components of a single coordinated program where each step informs the next.
Outreach feedback enriches the database. Qualification conversations sharpen the target profile. Introduction outcomes guide follow on outreach. The program gets more effective as it runs.
